Please log in for more information on the ECPGR European Evaluation Network (EURISCO-EVA) for Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (PGRFA). EURISCO-EVA is an international initiative focused on enhancing the utilization of crop genetic diversity and involving a broad spectrum of stakeholders in plant breeding. It plays a strategic role in Europe by promoting the sustainable use of PGRFA to help European agriculture adapt to climate change and contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). EVA conducts collaborative projects with public and private sector partners, along with participatory plant breeding activities, to generate standardized evaluation data (both phenotypic and genotypic) for numerous crop accessions and landraces preserved in European gene banks. The initiative operates through crop-specific networks covering cereal and vegetable crops. Access to detailed information is restricted to partners. If you are interested in joining the EVA networks, please contact the EVA coordinator.
